Yes. The City of Bonita Springs land development code (LDC) regulates the materials and colors of all new and existing buildings and projects pursuant to LDC 3-487 and 3-489(n). Color changes within the Downtown redevelopment area are regulated pursuant to LDC 4-896(3)e.
Colors and materials are typically reviewed as part of the local development order review process for new or redevelopment projects where other site improvements and/or façade changes are contemplated.
Color changes outside of the local development order review process require a Color Permit ($25). The permit application can be obtained here and must be submitted for review at Community Development Department.
